Family and relatives of a 20-year-old rape victim staged a sit-in at District Police Office on November 21 demanding arrest of 23-year-old Pravin Kapar of Hansapur Municipality-4.
The victim's family accused Kapar of raping the victim on the night of November 15 at her own house. A village meeting was held on November 16 to settle the issue.
The uncles of the accused Bijaya Kapar and Dilip Kamar are employed at the District Police Office, Dhanusha. The victim's medical examination was done at the Provincial Hospital in Janakpur on November 18.
