Police arrested Hari Bahadur Silwal, a teacher of Siddheshwor Secondary School, in connection with the physical and verbal assault against six members of Dalit on October 7 and October 8. The victims filed a complaint against six other people including Hari Bhadur Silwal on November 14 for assaulting the victims in Thanti Bhanjyang. Police had arrested Pradip Giri, one of the other six accused, on November 13 and had filed a case against him. Police are further investigating the incident. Furthermore, they have launched a manhunt to nab the other absconding perpetrators.
