East-West Highway obstructed after vehicle runs over pedestrian

A vehicle ran over 30-year-old Ram Bahadur Rokaya, a resident of Krishnapur Municipality-2. Rokaya's relatives blocked the East-West highway after he died in the traffic accident. They have demanded action against the perpetrator.
District Police Office Kanchanpur informed that search for the vehicle and the driver that killed the pedestrian is underway.
Rokaya was taken to Seti Provincial Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to injuries.
