Police arrests youth on the charge of raping 7-year-old minor girl

Police on November 30 arrested 19-year-old Umesh Tharu of Tillottama Municipality-12 on the charge of raping a 7-year-old girl. Police arrested Tharu after the girl's family lodged a complaint against him at Area Police Office Butwal, accusing him of raping the girl on November 30 by taking her near a river in the village on his bicycle.
According to DSP Bhimlal Bhattarai of APO Butwal, the victim is undergoing treatment at Lumbini provincial hospital.
