Newborn infant found dead in fishing net

The dead body of an infant girl was found in a river situated in Rupani Rural Municipality-3 on Saturday.
According to Police Inspector Krishna Prasain of the District Police Office, the infant's body was found in a fishnet at Tileshwor Shah's pond.
The body is kept at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj. Inspector Prasain added that investigation regarding the incident is underway.
