Farmers break eggs on the road protesting the arbitrary rates

Egg producers staged a protest in Chaubiskothi, Bharatpur on December 17 by breaking eggs on the road. The farmers claimed that the suppliers bought the eggs at a lower rate than the rate fixed by Egg Producers Association and sold them at a much higher rate.
The demonstrators rallied from the premises of District Police Office to Chaubiskothi, chanting slogans.
