Kidney patients staged a sit-in near the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday morning. The patients protested the cutting down of facilities provided by the government. The protesters have demanded free treatment.
The patients were receiving Rs. 5,000 per month for medicinal costs which the government deducted.
