Policeman kills wife for inadequate dowry

Bipin Kumar Jha, a policeman working at Area Police Office Lahan, is accused of killing his wife, Jyoti Jha. The relative of the deceased, Sanjay Kumar Jha, has accused Jha of poisoning Jyoti on December 7 for inadequate dowry.
The family of the deceased claim that she was subjected to physical and mental abuse for not bringing enough dowry.
