A victim of domestic violence has lodged a complaint against her husband in Kalikot. 35-year-old Ganga Budha Batala of Sanni Tribeni Rural Municipality-2 filed a complaint against her husband, 38-year-old Gorkha Batala at District Police Office Kalikot, accusing him of beating and evicting her from house for not giving birth to a son.

According to her, her husband banished her from home on January 11. She has sustained injuries on her head and different parts of the body and is undergoing treatment at district hospital, informed DSP Shyam Oliya of DPO Kalikot.
