On Friday, police seized a body of a dead woman while it was being burnt in a funeral in Bara after being reported that the woman might have been murdered.

According to SP Bikasraj Khanal, the body of 38-year-old Maltidevi Nuniya of Pacharauta Municipality-1 was taken under control for the investigation after the victim's family informed police that woman's husband, Ramdayal Mahato Nuniya, murdered the wife and burnt the body. 

SP Khanal said that the investigation is underway as the deceased's husband, mother-in-law and father-in-law are on the run.
