Police arrests teenager on rape charge in Tulsipur

Police have arrested 18-year-old Sanjiv Bharati of Shantinagar Rural Municipality-4 residing in Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-8 on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl.
According to DSP Hariharnath Yogi of Area Police Office Tulsipur, police arrested Bharati after the victim's family filed a complaint against him on January 16 accusing him of raping the girl by taking her to a relative's home in Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-9 on January 15.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Rapti provincial hospital in Tulsipur.
