Birgunj Bikas Youth Struggle Committee staged a whistle rally on Saturday demanding the extension of the road.
The rally started from the Clock Tower en routed the city and was converted into corner assembly at the Clock Tower. The members of the committee: Akles Saah, Munna Miya, Bishal Saraf, Muhammad Ansari, urged the Department of Roads to work firmly on widening the road by 25 meters. They warned that obstruction of road widening would not be tolerated for any reason other than judicial order.
