Police arrests teenager on rape charge in Banke

Police on January 29 arrested an 18-year-old boy on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl in Banke. According to SP Bir Bahadur Oli of District Police Office Banke, the girl's family had filed a complaint against the boy on January 24 stating that he raped the girl on January 23.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Bheri hospital on January 24.
