Police, on February 2, arrested 25-year-old Sagar Sunari and 30-year-old Mohan Bhandari on the charge of assaulting 30-year-old Gokarna Poudel, the chairperson of Federation of Nepalese Journalists, Dang and the correspondent of Gorkhapatra. Poudel had filed a complaint on February 2 at Area Police Office Hapure stating that the accused had assaulted him on February 1. The accused hit Poudel on his cheek and ears while he was returning to his home after finishing his work shift at Radio Hapure. He underwent a medical treatment on February 2, said Police.
