A bomb disposal unit of Nepalese Army diffused a hand grenade found in Panga of Kirtipur on December 27. The hand grenade was found along with garbage in the backyard of a vegetable market in Panga around 5:30 pm on Friday. The police were informed by the locals who saw a suspicious object on the ground which turned out to be a hand grenade. Further investigation was underway.
According to DSP Chhedilal Kamati of Metropolitan Police Circle Kirtipur, the hand grenade was disposed along with garbage by an unidentified group. Police are further investigating to identify the group.
