Two employees of Bharatpur hospital postmortem ward were injured after a police constable attacked them accusing them of stealing an earring of dead woman who was brought for postmortem. 49-year-old Dev Ananda Rai was seriously injured and 65-year-old Purna BK's hand was broken after being beaten by police constable Jamir Ali Seikh.
Both of the injured workers had lodged complaint in District Police Office, Chitwan demanding to take action on an accused police constable. Spokesperson of DPO, Chitwan DSP Ek Narayan Koirala said they will take action against the constable Jamir Ali Seikh after investigation.
