Local women staged a protest in Kapilbastu demanding action against Arjun Shrestha who is accused of raping a 14-year-old girl at his Kapilbastu Municipality-1 based Kapilbastu Pan Masala Tobacco and Gutkha Factory on January 31. Police have issued an arrest warrant against the accused following a complaint from the victim's mother against him. However, police are yet to arrest the accused even though two weeks have passed since the incident. Local women staged protest pressuring the police to immediately arrest the accused.
