Kathmandu, February 16

A girl was found murdered in a shed at Lower Kavra of Tribeni rural municipality-1 in Salyan district of Karnali province on Friday. Police have not yet found any lead on the case.

According to the District Police Office chief DSP Dhakendra Khatiwada, 17-year-old Kabita Bohara was murdered after the unidentified people slit her throat.

Bohara was still in her home till 9 pm on Friday. It is assumed that she stepped out of the house after everyone else was asleep and that is when she was murdered. Her body was found some 10-15 metres away from her home.

Police are investigating into the case, says Khatiwada.
