Police, on February 16, arrested 20-year-old Samir Oli of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-4 on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl for a month since November 23  promising to marry her. As per the victim, Samir ousted her on December 27 by assaulting her physically. The victim's side had filed a complaint at the district police office on December 29. The victim underwent a medical examination on December 29 at Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulsipur.
