Police arrested Ram Kumar Malla (35) originally of Myagdi District, Raghuganga Rural Municipality-3 and living at Lalitpur Metropolitan-12 in accusation of raping a 19-year-old women on 1 March 2020. The victim was raped on 29 February 2020.

The accused was arrested on 1 March by the Metropolitan Police Range Jawalakhel, said DSP Santosh Tamang. Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 1 March at Patan Hospital, informed the police. A case of rape was filed against him on 2 March and Malla is in custody for urther investigation, informed SP Spokesperson Durga Singh.
