A group of youths blocked the road at Pidari Chowk in Janakpur saying that roving police had abused the woman. The youths chanted slogans against the police administration and burnt tires in the streets. They claimed that the policeman abused Nem Kumari Paswan of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolis-9. Jitendra Yadav, a roving policeman, was involved in the misbehavior and they blocked the road for about half an hour demanding action against him.
