Ward chairperson assaulted in Baitadi

A local resident, Trilok Bista assaulted Ward Chairperson of Dasharathchand Municipality-10, Prakash Laavad, on Friday afternoon.
The victim Laavad said, "I do not know why he attacked me suddenly. He was drunk." Laavad sustained injuries on his hand. The injured Laavad's treatment is going on in District Hospital.
According to Kisan Chand, Police Inspector of District Police Office Baitadi, police arrested accused Bista on Friday evening and further investigation is underway.
