Man arrested with 29 rounds of bullets in Pokhara

Police arrested 40-year-old Jitu Shahi of Pokhara-27 with 29 rounds of bullet from Pokhara Airport. According to Rajkumar KC, DSP of District Police Office Kaski, police arrested Shahi, who was carrying bullets used in a 22 caliber rifle in a bag while flying from Pokhara to Kathmandu via Yeti Airlines on Sunday.
In the police statement, Shahi said he was carrying the bullets because he has the license. KC said that arms and ammunition are not allowed to be carried at the airport despite holding a license.
