A group of youths manhandled assistant Inspector Munmun Singh when he tried convincing people from the Muslim community in Paroha of Rautahat not to gather around in a large number. The people had gathered in a Mosque for prayers on the occasion of Sabebarat.
The incident occurred when assistant inspector Singh tried to explain to the mass that they should not violate the lockdown, and such a gathering could help in spreading of the coronavirus.
According to District Police Office Rautahat, the police arrested 26-year-old Kalam Ansari, 17-year-old Sajid Ansari and 16-year-old Lalu Ansari.
