Dalit community members of Mahakali Municipality-8, Darchula have staged a sit-in at ward office demanding relief in lockdown period. They said that although the municipality had opened far shop prices they were unable to buy from the shop due to lack of money as they have not been able to work and earn any money because of the lockdown. The Dalit community members are demanding free relief from the municipality. Ward chairperson of the ward Chakrasingh Bista said that he had relayed the community's demand to the municipality office.
