A police team deployed under the command of police inspector from Bhrikutimandap has beaten a woman carrying medicine in Kalanki. The incident became public after a video of the incident was posted on youtube. In the video, police can be seen beating the woman with baton following a dispute between police and three persons including the woman, another woman and a man who police are seen trying to take under control with the man-catching device.
