A clash took place on Sunday after a dispute arose over the operation of Jaya Baba Brick Factory at Chhataveli of Duhabi 9, Sunsari during the lockdown period.
At least 13 people sustained an injury in the clash between two local groups which took place at around 8 in the morning. Tabija Miya, one of the injured, claimed that they were attacked under the direction of Menhdi Hussain, Ward Chairperson of Duhabi-9, for disseminating the information to police and media that the factory is running during the lockdown period.
Duhabi police said that a dozen youths and a policeman were injured in the clash. According to Inspector Prabin Karki of Area Police Office Duhabi, the condition of the injured is normal.
