According to the police, a 15-year-old girl of Chabispathibhara Rural Municipality-7 was abducted on Saturday night by some of her neighbors but the locals rescued her. 

DSP Ganesh Bam of the District Police Office Bajhang said that seven people abducted the girl for marriage when she went to her aunt's house to prepare food. The next day, a local found out and informed the girl's relatives. Later locals rescued her and sent her to the district hospital for a health check-up, said DSP Bam.

DSP Bam said that a team has been deployed from Bhisauna Police Station to search for those involved in the incident and further investigation is going on.
