Laborers picketed ward office of Pokhara Lekhnath ward no. 9 on Sunday afternoon demanding relief. Because of the lockdown, the laborers have not been able to find work. Two weeks ago, the local community development organization provided 12 kg rice, 1 kg lentils, and 1 kg of salt. However, the laborers claim that it is not enough for large families. 

Ward Chairperson Ram Raj Lamichhane of Ward 9 claimed that they distributed relief materials to 688 families in the first phase. He also added that they will coordinate with other organizations to provide relief to those who didn't receive it in the first phase.
