Rudra Bahadur Shahi, the Chief Administrative Officer(CAO), of Sarkegad Rural Municipality, assaulted Karna Jung Shahi, the ward chairperson of ward number 5 of the same municipality. The meeting of the executive of the rural municipality took an ugly turn after five ward chairperson of the rural municipality demanded the financial details on Relief Fund, Disaster Management Fund, Disadvantaged Target Fund, and Travel Expense. The ward chairperson and the CAO exchanged words before the CAO assaulted the ward chairperson Karna Jung Shahi. Rudra Bahadur Shahi, however, claims that the ward chairperson assaulted him first.
