Ward chair assaulted, five arrested

Police arrested five persons on the charge of assaulting Ward Chairperson Ratna Lal Neupane of Pachaljharana Rural Municipality-1. The injured chairperson has been sent to Kohalpur Medical College for treatment.
Janak, Paras, Tilak, Umesh, and Kamal Neupane allegedly assaulted the ward chairperson on Wednesday evening while he was trying to break up the group of youths trying to assault Office Assistant Prakash Neupane over an issue of consumers' committee.
