Police have arrested Dhiren Magar (22) of Miklajung Rural Municipality-9 on 3 May 2020 in accusation of raping a 14-year-old girl.

The victim was raped on 1 May 2020. The complaint was filed at the Area Police Office. The accused had absconded immediately after he was found by the locals.

The victim’s side had filed a complaint against the accused on 2 May but Area Police Office has denied filing the complaint after which they had gone to the District Police Office for filing the complaint, informed SP Bishwa Adhikari.

Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 4 May 2020 at Koshi Hospital.
