Locals and traders of Nayabazar attempted to attack the government's market inspection team after they sealed a warehouse and fined NRS 2 lakhs to TN store on finding that it engaged in black marketing, selling sugar at over-price and was also found to be selling date expired items. Police arrested 5 traders who tried to attack the inspection team of Consumers Rights Protection Department, Nepal Bureau of Standards & Metrology, and CDO office.
