Police have arrested Khus Bahadur Gurung (60) of Madi Rural Municipality-8 on 14 May 2020 in accusation of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl. 

The victim was abused on 14 April 2020 and the complaint was filed on 12 May 2020 at the District Police Office. The locals had forced victim’s family to reconcile the case within the village.

The police had arrested him and kept him under custody for further investigation, informed DSP Raj Kumar KC.

Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 13 May 2020 at Pokhara Health Science Academy.
