The local administration has imposed a fine of 1000 rupees and a month of imprisonment on Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Bharatpur. The administration found the supermarket was selling products at a higher rate during monitoring.
Manager Jamuna Gurung was given the sentence. She is released after paying the fine equal to the sentence.
Similarly, other shop owners have also faced action for black marketing.
