Supporters of Bam protest in front of police station

The supporters of Laxman Bahadur Bam, the chairperson of Palata Rural Municipality, have been protesting in front of Thirpu Police Station of the same municipality for the last two days. They demanded action against Maan Bahadur Bhandari, ward chairperson of Palata Rural Municipality-2, and Bishnu Rokaya, NCP's chairperson for Palata Rural Municipality. Earlier, the duo had assaulted Bam and his family on May 9.
