Villagers along with ward members were injured in a baton charge by APF in Balan Bihul Rural Municipality-4, of Saptari.  Ward members Bhagawat Singh (65), Mugalal Shah (60), Bhogilal Mandal (75) Saburlal Mandal (60) Maniklal Yadav (30), Dharmadev Kapar (28) and Roshanlal Yadav (20) were injured after the team of APF led by inspector Dilip Basnet suddenly charged baton on villagers when they were holding a meeting to protest against the decision of making quarantine in a school of the village.  The injured villager's treatment was done in a  local clinic.
