Two of Dhanuk's sons and a local vandalized the municipal office of Purchaudi Municipality and assaulted the employees stating that Mayor Kunwar had assaulted Dil Bahadur Dhanuk during a general dispute. They also manhandled Mayor Rana Bahadur Dhami.

Information Officer of Purchaidi Municipality Pravin Dhanuk said, "Initially various branches were vandalized and the employees of the branches were assaulted. After that, there was an attempt to attack the mayor as well."
