Locals have staged a demonstration protesting against a cement industry saying that it has been defying the lockdown and is not taking precautions against Covid-19. The locals blocked the roads leading to the cement industry in protest.
Locals have alleged that the Samrat Cement Industry in Lamahi-7 has violated the ongoing lockdown. Local Ashish Devkota said the company has more than 300 drivers and helpers and the operators do not have health care equipment like sanitizers, gloves, masks. The workers who have come in truck move around the village and we have fear of contracting coronavirus from them.
