Rape accused arrested after three months in Bajhang

Sudurpashchim, Bajhang, Durgathali, Ward 4
Police, on May 18, arrested Bashanta Oli of Durgathali Rural Municipality-4 Bajhang on the charge of raping a mentally disabled girl. Oli was absconding for three months after the victim girl lodged a complaint in DPO, Bajhang on February 24, 2020. Police also said they were also searching Shivaraj Joshi, a teacher of Thalichaur secondary school, who was also involved in the incident. Further investigation is underway.
