Youth arrested for impregnating minor

Police arrested an 18-year-old boy from Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-7 on May 23 on the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The victim's family stated that the boy raped her on February 22 taking her to a guest house situated in Khadichaur. The family filed a complaint agains the accused on May 21 and the victim's medical examination was conducted at Chautara Hospital on May 22.
According to the doctor, the victim is nine weeks pregnant.
