Police on Sunday arrested 29-year-old Kawang Lama permanent resident of  Kavre Temal village and living at Puranothimi on the charging of raping a 20-year-old girl.

22-year-old Rohit Giri of Madhyapurthimi Municipality-6 had lured a 20-year-old girl and taken to his room on the evening of May 21.

DSP Deepak Giri of Bhaktapur Metropolitan Police informed that he called four people including Lama to the room and raped her. 

All four involved in the rape are absconding. Police said theyarrestedd Kawang while he was hiding in Puranothimi.  Police said they are searching for absconded accused.
