Two policemen allegedly assaulted 8-9 labourers on Wednesday while they were having lunch at Anil Thing's house in Chandrapur-3, Rautahat on Wednesday. The policemen in civil outfits allegedly attacked the labourers with a baton. They hit three persons while the others fled. Two of the labourers have blue marks from the attack.

The labourers acknowledged that it was wrong to sit in a large group and eat lunch together while the country is on lockdown. However, they think charging baton shows police brutality.
