Locals have accused the police of severely beating two youths during a minor dispute over feeding occupants in a quarantine in Pyuthan on Wednesday evening.
The victims 30-year-old Jhavilal Khatri and 20-year-old Phan Bahadur Khatri reported that they sustained fractured hands after being by the police during a minor dispute over feeding at Mundanda quarantine in Mallarani Rural Municipality, Ward No 3.
The injured have reached the hospital only on Friday, although the incident took place on Wednesday evening.
