The Indian Border Security Force (SSB) obstructed the construction of houses by the provincial government for the very poor Musahar community in the Nepal-India Dashgaja area.
The construction of 47 houses was started in Madhawa village of Manarasisawa Municipality-10 of Mahottari under the conditional grant of the federal government under the public housing program run by the provincial government.
According to Binod Yadav, Divisional Engineer at the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Development, the Indian SSB created unnecessary controversy while constructing houses for its citizens on Nepali land. Yadav informed that a discussion has been called between Nepal and the Indian side by summoning a technician to measure the border on Tuesday to resolve the dispute.
