A person sustained an injury in a clash between two parties over the construction of a water tank at Sakhuawa in Madhav Narayan Municipality Ward No. 3 on Tuesday morning. According to Jay Narayan Yadav, one of the locals, Shankar Rai Yadav sustained a broken hand in the clash and he was sent to Bharatpur for treatment.
According to Yadav, Raj Kumar Yadav, Ward Chairman of Ward No. 3, tried to build a water tank without consulting the locals in Sakhuat, an area of 2 bighas where the locals have been inhabited for generations.
The clash broke out between the two sides after the ward chairperson Yadav's party took a stand to build a water tank in the same place even after the locals protested against it.
