One arrested on the charge of rape in Ilam

Police on June 4 arrested 22-year-old Milan Rai of Chulachuli Rural Municipality-5 on the accusation of raping a 9-year-old girl.
According to SP Hira Bahadur Pandey, police arrested the accused for the investigation after the victim's family lodged a complaint against him at the District Police Office on June 1 stating that the accused raped the victim on May 20.
The victim underwent a health checkup on June 1 at District Hospital.
