A complaint was filed against Raj Kumar Yadav (25) of Mayadevi rural municipality-3 on 4 June 2020 in accusation of attempting to rape a 19-year-old woman.

The accused had tried to rape the victim on 19 May 2020. The accused has absconded after the complaint and search is ongoing, informed DSP Khadak Bahadur Khatri of District Police Office.

Health checkup of the victim was conducted on 24 May 2020 at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
