Complaint filed against rape accused in Saptari

Police on June 16 registered a complaint of a rape case against 25-year-old Lal Bahadur Mukhiya of Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-3 on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl. Police registered the complaint on June 14 and arrested the accused on the basis of a complaint filed by the victim. She is said to be 3 months pregnant as a result of rape. Locals had tried to settle the case in the village earlier.
