KATHMANDU: The Joint Political Dalit Struggle Committee on Tuesday staged a whistle rally in Kathmandu against the killing of six people, including a Dalit youth, at Soti in West Rukum.
Participants in the demonstration alleged that the incident has not been investigated in depth. They chanted slogans saying that the perpetrators of ethnic genocide should be punished to the utmost.
They were stopped by the police when they tried to march towards Baneshwor.
